LSE Law Moot Competition Finalists

We were delighted to attend the 2025 LSE Sixth Form Mooting Competition.
Our students, Aaliyah O and Deborah F successfully got through to the LSE Law Moot Competition Finals!
The two students presented a speech discussing key legal principles on the conviction of a case around manslaughter. The two students went through many stages of the mooting competition and went through to the finals to which they came second place.
“The LSE moot redefined my capabilities, stretched my horizons, and sculpted my path towards future prospects. It was a journey from fear to finalist, a second-place triumph as my testament of growth.” - Aaliyah
The students presented articulated speeches with critical research in legal cases. They had also been asked questions on the spot during their argument by a High Court Judge and the dean of the Law School of LSE to which they had effectively rebutted their questioning of the law, showcasing their high levels of analytical skills.
“The LSE moot was an amazing, new experience that helped my confidence skills and the way I approach multi-skill tasks. Through the amazing preparation of the moot I was able to learn more about the law and how legal issues are addressed in real life scenarios, preparing me for my future. I was very proud and happy to get second place!!" - Deborah
Their teacher, Ms Begum said: I am immensely proud of the work the students put together for this and their presentation of legal arguments. A very big well done to Aaliyah and Deborah.
