Angel F makes the National Theatre's New Views Longlist!

We are thrilled to report that Angel Flanore who studies L3 Performing Arts at St Charles has been longlisted for her play The Last Party out of 488 submissions from over 90 schools. This was part of the National Theatre's New Views 2023-2024 project working with schools and colleges. The scripts were narrowed down to a longlist of 103 scripts.

The programme reported that the standard has been exceptional this year and all students should be incredibly proud of the work they’ve produced. Angel will receive a digital certificate as a celebration of her achievement. In addition, all the longlisted scripts will now be read by a panel of readers from across the National Theatre and a further shortlist of nine will be selected from these. We wish Angel the best of luck with this and we are incredibly proud of her reaching this stage in such a competitive market. Angel said she felt excited and was thrilled to receive this news and thanked Ms Sky Montique, her LSA and Ms Katrina Nash her performing arts teacher for all their encouragement and support.
