St Charles Students impress at the London Regional Basketball Tournament

On Thursday 25th November the London Regional Basketball tournament took place at New City SPACe (Central London). Five of our students were officiating on the day (part of our agreement with the AOC) as they have recently achieved the Level 1 Basketball Table Officiating qualification with England Basketball.
Alimammy Sesay, Jaiden Rielle Rosales, Albert Wishart, Reniece Dupuis, Joseph Foyoh made a strong impression with the NGB Development Officer who said:
I just wanted to pass on my thanks and let you know that your students did an absolutely brilliant job table officiating at the regional tournament yesterday!
It’s often a high-pressure tournament and they all coped so well, I would definitely say their confidence grew as the tournament went on as well so thank you very much.
Well done to the students who did a great job. They certainly are a credit to the College.
